If you are an old musician or audio engineer, you might find it amusing that boiler plate operations like threading a tape machine and using a patch bay are now a novelty worthy of being featured in a music video. Something for everyone young and old in John Vanderslice‘s latest video which was picked up by NPR’s All Songs Considered and features a great inside look into Vanderslice’s all analog studio Tiny Telephone, as well as shots of the local SF Mission neighborhood near where the studio is located.
