John Vanderslice “How The West Was Won” Video Premieres on NPR


If you are an old musician or audio engineer, you might find it amusing that boiler plate operations like threading a tape machine and using a patch bay are now a novelty worthy of being featured in a music video. If you are young, check out how fucking awesome it is to make music with actual people and no computers. Something for everyone young and old in John Vanderslice‘s latest video which was picked up by NPR’s All Songs Considered and features a great inside look into Vanderslice’s all analog studio Tiny Telephone, as well as shots of the local SF Mission neighborhood near where the studio is located.
